The New York Jets reached a deal with highly sought-after wide receiver Terrelle Pryor in free agency on Thursday night.

Terms of the contract were not immediately disclosed. Pryor also visited the Seattle Seahawks this week.
The 28-year-old wideout is coming off a disappointing season with the Washington Redskins, his only one with the team. Pryor, a former Ohio State quarterback, rejected a multi-year offer from the Cleveland Browns — for whom he also previously played for two seasons — in signing his one-year deal with Washington.
Pryor finished 2017 with only 20 catches for 240 yards and one touchdown in nine games. He injured his ankle in a Week 2 victory at the Los Angeles Rams, and he eventually required season-ending surgery in November.

Pryor was selected by the Raiders as a third-round pick in the 2011 supplemental draft. He started 10 games at quarterback.
The Jets now have four veteran players at the receiver position: returning starters Robby Anderson and Jermaine Kearse. They also have Quincy Enunway, who is returning from a neck injury that caused him to miss the season.
Anderson is coming off a breakout season, but has had some recent off-the-field issues (two arrests since last May) that create a concern for the Jets. Meanwhile, Kearse is due to earn a non-guaranteed $5 million in 2018.
