Excited Michigan Fans Line Up For School’s New Nike Gear
That day at midnight, the school officially switched from Adidas to Nike’s ‘Jordan Brand,’ causing scores of fans to line up to buy the Wolverine’s new gear.
The Wolverines are now the only college in America whose athletic department is outfitted in Jordan Brand, and the school celebrated the only fitting way they could think: with a wild party.
Michigan football coach Jim Harbaugh led the charge at a rally in the middle of the street, singing ‘Hail to the Victors’ as students surrounded him.

From there, eager fans went on buying sprees and basked in the glory of the new gear that dominated the talk of the night.
The gear includes baseball caps, jerseys, and different styles of sneakers. Former Michigan football wide receiver Desmond Howard even jumped on Twitter to express his excitement over the Wolverines’ new gear.
The student body’s interest in the gear was so strong, in fact, that it actually led to Michigan’s school store website crashing in the middle of the night, in turn leading to many angry fans.
