Aaron Rodgers Dragged For Showing Off Ayn Rand’s ‘Atlas Shrugged’ On ManningCast
Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, already a lightning rod for criticism for misrepresenting his COVID-19 vaccination status, caused an uproar on social media following his appearance on the ESPN2 ManningCast of Monday Night Football.
Although he did not address the former controversy of running afoul of the NFL’s COVID protocols, for which he was fined $14,650 by the NFL, Rodgers still managed to make waves. This time it was for addressing the reading material displayed on his bookshelf.
Straying from their gridiron discussion, the Manning brothers asked the 38-year-old what he was currently reading.
“Yeah, a lot of French poetry, and I’ve got Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand over here,” Rodgers said. The latter sent the social media world into a frenzy.
