The NBA and NBPA agreed on how the season will start back up earlier in June. The season will restart in Walt Disney World at their Wide World of Sports Complex. Players will be essentially in a bubble community. No fans will be allowed at games and teams will be limited as to the number of people they can have inside the bubble. Players will not even be able to have visitors until the playoffs start. With the season expected to resume in late July, there are concerns amongst certain players about living in the bubble.

According to ESPN, there have been about 40-50 players over the last few days who have expressed concerns about the league’s season resumption plan. One of the biggest concerns is how restrictive living in a bubble will be, the fact that they will not be able to leave and will be forced to stay in their hotels if they are not playing. The league is expected to come out with its safety protocols sometime in the coming days and exactly what measures that players will have to follow.

There is a growing possibility that players, especially on teams that do not have a legitimate chance of winning a championship, will opt not not partake in the season’s resumption in Orlando.
