The Minnesota Timberwolves’ second-year Canadian guard flew to throw down a spectacular one-handed jam dunk from 10 feet out during the third quarter of the Timberwolves’ home game against the Utah Jazz on Saturday night.
The slam dunk put Minnesota ahead 42-41, although the Jazz won the game 93-84 at the Target Center in Minneapolis after leading 35-34 at the half.

Gordon Hayward helped lead the Jazz to victory over the Timberwolves with 18 points, 16 of which came in the fourth quarter. Utah ended its five-game road trip 3-2. Derrick Favors added another 19 points and five rebounds for the Jazz (36-37), who have now moved into a tie with the Houston Rockets for seventh place in the Western Conference and have won seven of their last nine games.
Ricky Rubio scored 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting and Karl-Anthony Towns added 14 points and 11 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who were coming off an exhausting double-overtime win over the Wizards in Washington on Friday night.
The Jazz will next host the Los Angeles Lakers, while the Timberwolves (24-49) will host the Phoenix Suns, both on Monday.
