According to the New York Post, FBI agents visited Shockey at his home in Miami. Former USC tight end Owen Hanson, among others, is believed to be a leader in the international operation. Hanson is friends with Shockey, as well as former Trojans teammate and NFL running back Reggie Bush.
Hanson, along with 21 others, has already been arrested as part of the investigation into ODOG Enterprise. Derek Loville, former NFL running back and three-time Super Bowl champion, is among the others who were arrested.
“I thought he was in the real estate business like me,” Shockey told The New York Post regarding Hanson’s alleged involvement. “I’m a straight businessman. I don’t hang out with drug dealers or prostitutes. I’m here with my girlfriend making out, and I get a knock on my door from these agents. I said to them, ‘Come on in. I got nothing to hide.’ ”

A Las Vegas gambler also told The Post he tipped off the FBI about an illegal operation involving cocaine and Ecstasy in Nashville, Tenn., on Nov. 17, 2014, the same day as a Steelers-Titans Monday Night Football game in Nashville. The gambler also said the NFL and Commissioner Roger Goodell should get involved.
Shockey added: “I’m a drunk — I’m Irish. I’ve never had anything to do with drugs. And I would never do anything illegal to jeopardize everything I’ve worked for.”
During his 10-year career as a tight end for the New York Giants, New Orleans Saints, and Carolina Panthers, Shockey made four Pro Bowl appearances. He caught 547 passes for 6,143 yards and 37 touchdowns.
