The Kansas State Wildcats college football team are saying goodbye to a big part of their offense that will have NFL teams looking for a big man to help protect the running back. Junior fullback Glenn Gronkowski has announced he will forgo his senior year to enter into the NFL Draft.

After Kansas State lost to Arkansas in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl with a 45-23 defeat on Saturday, Gronkowki told Sports Illustrated that “I think it’s the right time” and that it was “time to move on.” Glenn is the youngest brother of Chris Gronkowski, who played 35 NFL games, Dan Gronkowski, who played 21 NFL games, and New England Patriots star tight end Rob Gronkowski.

The 6-foot-3, 234 pound full back finished this season with only 16 touches of the football and resulting in 45 rushing yards, 76 receiving yards, and two touchdowns. Gronkowski is already rated as one of the top fullbacks in the draft but will most likely be a late-round pick depending on the needs of NFL teams that will be looking for him in terms of depth.
