2021 NBA All-Star Game: Team LeBron Cruises Past Team Durant

The match between LeBron James and his team versus Kevin Durant and his team was hotly anticipated.

Both teams included various superstars from the East and the West, but in the end, it was LeBron’s team which came out on top, easily cruising by Team Durant 170-150. Team LeBron was aided by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who put on a spectacular performance. The forward scored 35 points, going a perfect 16-16 from the field. That performance earned the forward the All-Star MVP for his efforts. Stephen Curry helped out Team LeBron with 28 points.

The win for LeBron became his fourth consecutive All-Star victory as the team captain. In addition, Chris Paul surpassed Magic Johnson for most assists in an All-Star game. Paul dished out 16 assists in the game, which allowed him to pass Johnsons’ 127 assists to become the all-time assist leader in All-Star game history.

Team Durant was led by Bradley Beal, as he contributed a team-high 26 points for them. Kyrie Irving, Jayson Tatum and James Harden each added 26, 24 and 21 respectively. While the game was not close, it did provide some good highlights from the game.
