Zion Williamson Posts Video Of Thunderous Dunk While Rehabbing Fractured Foot

As New Orleans Pelicans F Zion Williamson rehabs his way back from a fractured right foot, he has kept out of the spotlight—until Tuesday.

Williamson, who has yet to play this season due to the injury, posted a video to Instagram showing him at the team’s facility throwing down an incredible dunk. He throws the ball of the backboard, catches it, shuffles it between his legs, and slams it down.

After two months working out in Portland, Williamson relocated his (perhaps dubious) rehab to the New Orleans area on March 5. The team hasn’t given any official updates since, and he had only been seen doing light work.

Team officials say he suffered the injury at media day in September and sustained numerous setbacks.

Over three seasons, he’s played just 85 games. Hopefully this new video is a sign of things to come.
