The New York Yankees might not be done after re-signing Aaron Judge to a mega contract.
In fact, the MLB’s most valuable team could be in on another big hitter and a pitcher to help shore up the starting rotation.
And the Yankees could be having something big brewing with star shortstop Carlos Correa, according to ESPN’s Buster Olney.
“The team I’m watching at the moment—the Yankees,” he said of Correa on sports radio station 95.7 The Game in the Bay Area.

“Because I’m definitely picking up a lot of vibes there that yeah they signed Aaron Judge to that $360 million deal, but they’re working on something big.”
While the San Fransisco Giants have been rumored around Correa, Olney noted that there haven’t been deep conversations when it comes to “dollars.”
The Los Angeles Dodgers can’t be ruled out for Correa either, which always seems to make a big move just about every offseason.
According to reports, Correa’s next deal will likely exceed $300 million.
So if the Yankees sign him he would likely be the second $300 million-plus player this offseason for the team.
Judge earlier this week agreed to a nine-year $360 million to remain a Yankee.
But another player the Yankees have been rumored around is starting pitcher Carlos Rodón.
When it comes to Rodón, there has been a lot of mixed reporting but the Yankees are at least interested.
MLB Network’s Jon Morosi has said that there’s a chance that the left-hander could land a contract north of $200 million.
Another move the Yankees made this week was making a reunion with bullpen arm Tommy Kahnle, signing him to a two-year, $11.5 million contract.
But the team could look a whole lot different next year by bringing in one of Rodón, Correa, or both.
Also, the Yankees are reportedly shopping infielders including second baseman Gleyber Torres.
The Yankees payroll for 2023 is currently at nearly $208 million, according to Spotrac.
