Following the fifth and final part of the WWE’s documentary, Undertaker: The Last Ride, the wrestling star known as The Undertaker amongst fans said that he has “no desire to get back into the ring.”
Mark Calaway is the real identity behind the character of The Undertaker made his debut in 1987, and during the documentary, the 55-year old said that there was “nothing left for [him] to conquer.” This quote has many fans speculating a retirement from the beloved character.
Neither he or the WWE have announced a formal retirement, but at least according to Calaway, The Undertaker’s final match against AJ Styles, was a perfect ending. “It was a perfect moment. You don’t necessarily always get those. If there was ever a perfect ending to a career, that right there was it. It’s time this cowboy really rides away. I can do more good outside the ring than I can inside. I’m finally at a place where I can accept that.” In that match, Calaway buried Styles in a grave and drove away on a motorcycle as the victor.

After the episode, Styles took to Twitter, as did many other fans, saying that he was honored to have been the final opponent during The Undertaker if that is the case.
In the documentary, Calaway mentioned that only time would tell if he would return to the ring for one final match, but at this point it seems the final image of the wrestler will be him riding off into the sunset.
