Before Sunday, it had been nearly two years since Marshawn Lynch had played on a football field.

However, the former Seattle Seahawks running back — nicknamed “Beast Mode” — was in full action and made some big moves with the Oakland Raiders in the team’s 26-16 road victory over the Tennessee Titans.
For example, with just over two minutes remaining in the game, 31-year-old Lycnh — who signed with the Raiders in free agency this summer after initially announcing in early 2016 that he was retiring —ran right over Titans defensive end Jurrell Casey on a second down for a five-yard gain.
As CBS’s new announcer Tony Romo said on the broadcast, “BOOM! I’m back, baby! I’m Beast Mode!”
Lynch finished the game with 18 carries for 76 yards (4.2 per carry), as well as a 17-yard catch. The running back signed a two-year, $9 million deal with Oakland this offseason.
