Team USA Olympic ski jumper Casey Larson is preparing to compete in the Olympic Games. His trick for staying cool under pressure is to act as if it’s like any other jump.
“For me, it’s what my coaches are talking about. When I’m training and I’m jumping well, I’m only focused on what they’re telling me to do, and at a competition, when I have my best competitions I’m usually just treating it the exact same way and I think the best tactic for whether it be the Olympics, world championships, and World Cup competition, is just kinda attacking with that same mentality,” he said. “Just going in, listening to your coaches and doing what you know how to do.”
