Ole Miss football fans took down their stadium’s goalposts and paraded the pieces through Oxford, after their team’s victory over the Georgia Bulldogs on Nov. 9, according to local reports.

Video captured by Brent Cooper shows a group of people carrying part of a goalpost in Oxford on Saturday, appearing to enter a restaurant with their souvenir. Cooper also captured footage of fans storming the playing field.

Fans ran onto the field with 16 seconds left in the game, the Clarion Ledger reported, before taking down the goalposts after the clock ran out.

The Ole Miss Rebels won the game 28-10.

“They got both of them,” Oxford police said in a post on X, after posting, “See you soon on the Square, Mr Goalpost.”
