The game in question was Tuesday’s bout between the Minnesota Wild and the Edmonton Oilers: deep in the first period, the Oilers were in Minnesota’s zone. As the Wild attempted to clear the puck by wrapping it around the boards, Zach Parise was unintentionally hit, resulting him to keel over in pain as blood dripped from his mouth.

And as he got up and skated off the rink, he realized he left one important thing on the ice, his tooth. So he picked it up, handed it to the trainer and then proceeded to the bench for medical attention. But did you think one lousy tooth was going to prevent him from playing: no, as most hockey fans know a lost tooth is nothing in one of the toughest sports in the world.

Minnesota Wild beat the Oilers 2-1.
