Tom Brady To Join Fox As Analyst Whenever Playing Career Ends

Imagine being (arguably) the greatest at your craft, an uber star, and then having your post-playing career lined up while you’re still an active player.

That’s exactly what has happened to Tom Brady.

The 44-year-old has agreed to join Fox Sports as an analyst when he finally decides to hang up the spikes.

“It’s entirely up to him,” Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch said of when Brady’s analyst career will begin.

Murdoch added that Brady will call the network’s “biggest NFL games” with Kevin Burkhardt as well as serve as an ambassador for “client and promotional initiatives”—the latter of which sounds like they’ll trot him out there for photo ops, but who knows?

Brady, for his part, seems like he has the analyst gig out of mind.

“Excited, but a lot of unfinished business on the field with the @Buccaneers #LFG,” he tweeted.

“We are delighted that Tom is committed to joining the Fox team and we wish him the best in this upcoming season,” Murdoch said.

Fox recently lost to ESPN two of its biggest, longtime game-callers in Joe Buck and Troy Aikman.
