Tom Brady Leaves Press Conference After Being Asked About Donald Trump
Earlier in the season, Patriots quarterback Tom Brady called Donald Trump a “great friend” and said “it would be great” if he became president. Those aren’t exactly the type of comments that die easily, so Brady is still being asked about them.
During his weekly media availability, the quarterback was asked about his image being on the front page of the New York Daily News alongside Trump.
“I don’t think about it much,” Brady said. “It’s a tough week, so I’ve got a lot of football stuff to think about. Hopefully we go out and beat the Titans.”
Reporters were then informed that the quarterback would take one more question. And, when it was a second about Trump, Brady ended the conference then and there.
