Tom Brady took to Twitter, and with one picture, was able to deliver a burn in return for the shade thrown at him by former Indianapolis Colts head coach Tony Dungy.

It all started when Dungy was on Shannon Sharpes‘ podcast the Club Shay Shay. In the podcast, the former coach gave a list of tough quarterbacks he coached against. Shockingly, Brady was listed as sixth. The former Colts coach justified his ranking by saying, “Who I put ahead of Tom Brady: Aaron Rodgers, John Elway, Steve Young, guys who could move.” He would further add some hint of shade with “Not to say Tom wasn’t great, but that extra dimension meant something to me.”

Word got around and Brady would tweet just one picture that said a lot. The six-time Super Bowl champion posted a picture of the Colts’ banner that said 2014 AFC Finalist. It was referring to the 2014 AFC playoff game where the New England Patriots beat Indianapolis.

Although the response was scalding hot, it should be noted that Brady did not face Dungy in 2014. Dungy had retired as a coach back in 2008. Even if it is not accurate, it is still a great response.
