The Tampa Bay Rays have signed reliever Chris Devenski on a one-year contract with a club option for 2025.

Devenski will get $1 million for the Rays in 2024, with another million for 2025 if the option is picked up. His contract will also have a $100,000 buyout.

Devenski began the 2023 season with the Los Angeles Angels and went 6-4 with a 4.46 ERA. He finished that season with the Rays and helped them to an American League Wild Card round, where they lost to the World Series champions Texas Rangers in a two-game set.

Devenski has also players with the Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks and Houston Astros, where they won the World Series in 2017.
