Suns’ Dillon Brooks Arrested For DUI In Scottsdale
Phoenix Suns forward Dillon Brooks was arrested Friday morning in Scottsdale, Arizona, for suspicion of driving under the influence, according to authorities.
Brooks was at a traffic stop when he was placed under arrest and later transported to Scottsdale City Jail. Brooks was “respectful and cooperative” during the arrest. He was later released at 3:30 a.m., per the Scottsdale Police Department

The Suns acknowledged the incident in a statement: “We are aware of the situation involving Dillon Brooks and are gathering more information.”

It is yet to be determined if Brooks will face charges, and that will be up to city prosecutors.
The forward has been sidelined due to a fractured hand since Feb. 21 against the Orlando Magic, and was having a career year in his first season with the Suns. Brooks is averaging a career-high 20.9 points per game and 3.7 rebounds per game.
The Suns currently sit at 35-27 and are the seventh seed in the West. They are 2-2 since Brooks suffered a fractured hand. The injury is expected to sideline Brooks 4-6 weeks.
