Ronda Rousey Wins SmackDown First Women’s Championship

You can add a new title to Ronda Rousey’s resume: SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Previously the Raw Women’s Champion, Rousey won this crown after defeating Charlotte Flair in an I Quit submission match at WrestleMania Backlash Sunday at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, R.I.

The match saw Rousey and Flair brawl throughout the live audience, and Rousey even used kendo sticks at one point. An Armbar submission hold forced Flair to quit.

Backlash also featured Cody Rhodes beating Seth Rollins; Madcap Moss defeating Happy Corbin; Roman Reigns and The Usos taking down Drew McIntyre and RK-Bro; and others.
