Ronda Rousey Shines In ‘Sports Illustrated’ Swimsuit Video

Nearly a month after the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, SI decided to release a few behind the scenes videos about the shooting process. And one of them was about the most dangerous woman in the world, UFC bantamweight champ Ronda Rousey.

And in the video, she showed her excitement about being in this world famous issue, but also how nervous she was about the actual modeling aspect. She has done it stuff before, yet the Swimsuit issue is an altogether different monster: luckily, the photographer was able to incorporate martial arts moves into the photography and the rest is history.

Ronda hopes by appearing in this swimsuit issue that “strong and healthy [can become] the new sexy.” She is the first UFC fighter in this edition and a wonderful change of pace from their usual models.
