Rams Coach Sean McVay Says He Will Support Players In Midst Of Nationwide Protests

As protests take place across the United States in the wake of the death of George Floyd. Numerous members of the sports community have spoken out and given their thoughts. While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay said that he will support any on-field demonstrations his players want to make this season.

Protesting on the field would not be something new for the Rams organization, as in 2014 while the Rams were still playing in St. Louis, a few players walked out of the tunnel prior to a game with their hands held above their heads. This came following the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri.

NFL teams and the league as a whole will be faced with the challenge of how they will handle protests by familiar prior to games in this coming season as when Colin Kaepernick knelt during the national anthem.
