There’s a time every year that football fans are left bored. Typically, they turn their attention to the NFL Draft, devouring pro days and combines. That’s still the case this year even with the emergence of the Alliance of American Football. With only two weeks until the draft combine, Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf looks ready to go.
A workout photo of Metcalf and other draft prospects went viral on Twitter on Monday. In the picture, Metcalf looked more like a defensive end than a wide receiver. He’s the last one on the left. But don’t think Metcalf is another combine warrior. He was No. 4 in the NCAA with 21.9 yards per reception and was No. 7 in the SEC with seven touchdowns this year.
