North Florida Coach Matthew Driscoll Gives Amazing Halftime Interview
Yesterday, the North Florida Ospreys lost 81-77 to the Robert Morris Colonials. But the Ospreys have became known for two reasons, their Cinderella story and eccentric coach Matthew Driscoll.
Now, going into halftime, North Florida was up 35-29. So reporter Evan Washburn asked him, what did he tell his players when they were down seven in the first half? What he responded with was pure genius.

“They obviously want this way more than we do… Between the black lines, it’s about the players being players,” Driscoll stated. “Ballers make plays; dudes are dudes. That’s the way life works.”
I want the second half of that chiseled on my tombstone. Hopefully, this will not be the last time the world gets to see the amazing Matthew Driscoll.
