Following this weekend’s results, two of the latest NFL teams to claim a playoff berth are the Pittsburgh Steelers (10-5) and the New York Giants (10-5), who qualified as a wild card (No. 5 NFC seed) by virtue of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ (8-7) 31-24 loss to the New Orleans Saints.

Despite their loss to the Eagles, the Giants have the playoff position tiebreaker over Detroit but not Green Bay.
The Steelers finished as the AFC North Champions. Pittsburgh won the division title with a 31-27 home win over Baltimore on Sunday. The Ravens are now eliminated, as are the Tennessee Titans, Denver Broncos, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Cincinnati Bengals. The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills also missed a chance at this year’s playoffs.
The Green Bay Packers (9-6) also qualified as a wild card (No. 6 NFC seed) with a 38-25 win over the Minnesota Vikings.
