After a month of naming the top 100 players in league history, the NFL ended the tribute with a culmination of the top 10 quarterbacks of all time. The idea was to celebrate the history of the NFL has it approaches 100 years.

Here are the top ten listed, in no particular order:
Sammy Baugh

Baugh came out of Texas Christian University and was drafted sixth overall in the 1937 draft. After playing 15 years with the Washington Redskins, he had a nine year coaching career that followed. He is a 2-time champion, 3-time First-Team All-Pro and a 6-time Pro Bowler.
Tom Brady
The 199th pick coming out of Michigan, Brady has had quite the extensive NFL career. He has led the New England Patriots since 2000 and is a 6-time Super Bowl Champion, 4-time Super Bowl MVP, 3-time NFL MVP, has the most wins by a QB with 219 wins and is second in NFL history with 74,350 pass yards.
John Elway
The first overall pick in the 1983 draft, Elway spent 15 years with the Denver Broncos before moving to the administrative side where he is now the GM and executive vice president of football operations for the Broncos. He is a 2-time Super Bowl champion, the 1992 Walter Payton Man of the Year and a 9-time Pro Bowler.
Brett Favre
Favre spent just under 20 years in the NFL playing for the Atlanta Falcons, Green Bay Packers, New York Jets, and the Minnesota Vikings. He has one Super Bowl win, is a 3-time NFL MVP and is fourth in NFL history in pass yards (71,838) and pass TDs (508).
Otto Graham
Drafted fourth in the 1944 draft out of Northwestern, Graham played for the Cleveland Browns from 1946-1955, followed by a 15 year coaching career. He is a 3-time NFL champion, 5-time Pro Bowler, and has the most in NFL history with nine yards/attempt.
Peyton Manning
The first-round pick in the 1998 draft spent 13 years with the Indianapolis Colts and three with the Denver Broncos. The 2-time Super Bowl champion and 5-time NFL MVP holds the single-season NFL records for pass yards (5,477) and pass TD (55) for 2013.
Dan Marino
Drafted 27th overall, Marino made Miami his home with an illustrious 16 year career as a Dolphin. He was the NFL MVP in 1984 and ranks 5th all-time in pass yards and TDs.
Joe Montana
Nicknamed the “Comeback Kid”, Montana was a late pick in the third round of the 1979 draft. He played for the San Francisco 49ers from 1979-1992 and then the Kansas City Chiefs from 1993-1994. He is a 4-time Super Bowl champion, a 2-time NFL MVP, and 8-time Pro Bowler and was named to the NFL 1980s All-Decade Team.
Roger Staubach
“Captain America” came out of Navy in the 10th round and played for the Dallas Cowboys from 1969-1979. The 2-time Super Bowl champion and 6-time Pro Bowler was the 1978 Walter Payton Man of the Year.
Johnny Unitas
The Louisville legend saw a 9th round, 102nd overall pick in the 1955 draft. He played for the Baltimore Colts and San Diego Chargers, capturing a Super Bowl win, as well as being a 3-time NFL champion. The 2-time NFL MVP was the 1970 Walter Payton Man of the Year.
