The return of Marshawn Lynch to the Seattle Seahawks has been a gift to Seahawks fans, but for Lynch, a greater gift is the boom his business has received since his return.
Lynch’s clothing line Beast Mode Apparel has seen a spike in sales since his re-signing on Monday. In just under a week, sales reached around $150,000, according to Mitch Grossbach, the head of operations and finance for the line.
New gear for the return include sweatshirts, t-shirts and long-sleeve T’s that read “Back in Action” and “Unfinished Business.” The moment the deal was signed, Lunch’s agent Doug Hendrickson texted Grossbach and the new gear went live.
Lynch is quoted as saying his return was fueled by “unfinished business.”

Seahawks coach Pete Carroll confirmed the return of Lynch and Robert Turbin, who spent three seasons with Seattle, and that they will play against San Francisco on Sunday.
“They fit right in,” Carroll said. “You couldn’t tell anything different that they weren’t. The workouts before we got them here, that showed as well. So we were somewhat assured that they’d be OK and they looked really good out here.”
After Lynch trademarked Beast Mode in 2007, he officially started the line in 2015 with the launch of the website and a pop-up store in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Stores have opened around the country and one is set to reopen in Las Vegas in 2020.
“He’s just the ultimate merchant when it comes to his fans,” Grossbach said. “People just want a piece of him.”
