The New York Rangers are hoping to finish up the season in Madison Square Garden. Coach David Quinn is leading the team down the homestretch, preaching focus and taking it step by step.
Before the February 12 matchup against the Winnipeg Jets, he said, “We’ve just got to be focused on Winnipeg. We’ve just got to continue to build on the way we’ve been playing.”
After trading away goalie Marek Mazanec and possibly dealing Mats Zuccarello, it’ll be interesting to see how the team fares for the rest of the season. Stag goalie Henrik Lundqvist is in what may be his last season with the Rangers. See if he can finally win a ring with New York or if he’ll be shipped off. Lundqvist is coming off a Player of the Week Award and a 55-save win.
