The Golden State Warriors will host the New Orleans Pelicans for Game 5 of the Western Conference Semifinals on Tuesday night, and here is what you need to know.
The defending NBA champions lead the series 3-1 after winning Game 4 by a score of 118-92 on Sunday. Two-time MVP Stephen Curry returning to the lineup has certainly given the Warriors a major boost.
Steve Kerr has stated he will start the “Hampton 5,” some of the top scorers on the team: Curry, Klay Thompson, Andre Iguodala, Draymond Green and Kevin Durant.
Golden State’s coach also compared those five players to the legendary Chicago Bulls lineup that led the team to glory years ago: Michael Jordan, Scottie Pippen, and Dennis Rodman are among those.
