The Washington Nationals have signed right-handed reliever Dylan Floro to a one-year deal worth $2.25 million. The contract says he can also earn up to $1.65 million in performance bonuses.
This past season, Floro split his time between the Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins. Floro struggled this year with a 4.76 ERA. He could look to bounce back to form following his poor showings.
Floro could add bullpen depth to the Nationals. It could be seen as a move to shave some time off for pitchers Kyle Finnegan and Hunter Harvey.
In addition to Floro, the Nationals have signed third baseman Nick Senzel for a contract at $2 million in addition to incentives.
