In the 30-second TV spot, which was released on December 19, Oprah reveals her exclusive interview with Michael Sam. The extremely short preview touches on an array of subjects and gives audiences a brief taste of what will come from the interview on Oprah Prime.
In the trailer she asks about the Dallas Cowboys cutting him, whether he truly believes he did not make the team because of his sexuality and perhaps the biggest bombshell of them all: Oprah asked “gay men in the NFL reached out to you and called you,” in which Michael Sam shook his head yes.
The interview will take place on Dec. 27 at 10:30 pm on Oprah’s network OWN.
