Mexican Soccer Star Guillermo Ochoa’s Wife, Karla Mora, Steals The Show At World Cup Matches

As Guillermo Ochoa prepares for what could be the final chapter of his legendary soccer career, one constant in his life has been his wife, Karla Mora.

Known to soccer fans around the world as Memo Ochoa, the Mexican goalkeeper has become one of the most recognizable figures in international football. He has represented Mexico on six World Cup squads and built a career spanning more than two decades. Throughout that journey, Mora has remained one of his strongest supporters.

Mora, who is originally from Guadalajara, Mexico, worked as a model and was involved in fashion design projects before becoming known as Ochoa’s wife. Over the years, she gradually shifted her focus toward family life while continuing to maintain a presence in fashion and lifestyle circles.

While Memo Ochoa is famous for his spectacular World Cup performances, Mora has chosen to stay mostly out of the spotlight. However, she occasionally shares family moments on social media and is often seen supporting Ochoa during major international tournaments. Most recently, she attended Mexico’s opening match of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, cheering on her husband and the national team from the stands.

Friends and media outlets have frequently described Mora as a calming influence on Ochoa’s life. As the goalkeeper has navigated transfers, international competition and the pressures of representing Mexico, she has helped provide stability away from the field.

With Ochoa planning to retire after the 2026 World Cup, their family enters another important chapter. While fans remember his remarkable saves and international success, those closest to him know Mora has been a very important part of that journey.
