Jaguars RB Leonard Fournette
Joining LeSean McCoy as another notorious running back without a home to joining the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it was announced on Wednesday that former Jaguars’ running back and first-round pick Leonard Fournette was heading to Tampa.
This comes just days after Fournette was released by Jacksonville after a disappointing stint for the team. He was drafted with the number four overall pick in the 2017 NFL draft and has had a disappointing three seasons with the team. He was cut by coach Doug Marone, who had less than kind things to say about Fournette on his way out, claiming that they could not find a trade for him.
The Buccaneers seem to be on a crusade to sign as many recognizable names with their acquisitions of Rob Gronkowski and LeSean McCoy after landing their big splash of Tom Brady. Many expect the Bucs to be much improved, but this team is the greatest team of all-time five years ago, right now it seems to be a little shakier.
