Los Angeles Lakers rookie Larry Nance Jr. made a name for himself after he scored a wide-open alley-oop early during Tuesday night’s game against the Golden State Warriors. The 6’9” forward netted the points after running past the Warriors defense and finishing off a lob from teammate Jordan Clarkson.
The alley-oop tied the game at 12-all. Nance was selected out of the University of Wyoming as a first-round pick (27th overall) by the Lakers in the 2015 NBA draft.
The Warriors (33-2) defeated the Lakers (8-28) 109-88 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Tuesday. The Lakers will next play the Kings in Sacramento on Thursday, while the Warriors will face off against the Trail Blazers in Portland on Friday.
