L.A. Rams Unveil Flashy 23-Carat Super Bowl LVI Rings

It’s the land of the rich and the famous so it only makes sense that the Los Angeles Rams would pay tribute to their city by designing Super Bowl LVI rings to hold the most ever carat weight in the history of sports championship rings.

The Rams finally received their rings in a Thursday night ceremony after beating the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20 in February.

“To be able to not only win the Super Bowl, but also to do it in the house Mr. Kroenke built, is really a dream come true,” Rams vice president of football and business affairs Tony Pastoors said in a statement. “We are grateful to Jason and his team for their creativity and passion to deliver a championship ring that reflects our team and their historic season, the one-of-a-kind stadium where it happened, and the city that inspired all of it.”

The players, including Aaron Donald, Von Miller, Jalen Ramsey and Odell Beckham Jr., had a big part in the design process as they partnered with L.A. jeweler Jason Arasheben of Jason of Beverly Hills.

The rings feature the team logo in blue and yellow sapphires with the Lombardi trophy and palm trees in the background. The top of the ring is removable and reveals an aerial view of SoFi Stadium as the Rams won the big game on their home turf. The miniature-sized field features remnants of the stadium’s turf. To make it even better, the underside of the top is covered by the piece of a football used in the game.

The ring included more significant numbers from the Rams’ journey to the Super Bowl. The columns on the ring are made of .23 carat diamonds to signify the 23 points the Rams scored to beat the Bengals. January 12 is also an important date that was honored on the ring with 1.12 carat round diamonds. The date is the day in 2016 the team was approved to move to L.A., the day head coach Sean McVay was hired in 2017 and the date of their first playoff victory since returning to the City of Angels in 2019.
