Josh Norman will be sitting out for a few weeks.
The Washington Redskins cornerback suffered a fractured rib during the second quarter of Monday night’s 29-20 defeat to the Chiefs in Kansas City.
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said following the game that Norman would be further evaluated on Tuesday.
Norman, 29, left just before halftime after assisting on a tackle of receiver Chris Conley. He sustained the injury while attempting to tackle tight end Travis Kelce following a long catch and run.
