Jim Harbaugh Says He’s Staying At Michigan After Interviewing For Vikings Head Coach
The University of Michigan won’t be looking for a new football coach, as Jim Harbaugh won’t be going to the Minnesota Vikings. Harbaugh met with the team earlier this week.
The potential move comes on the heels of the Wolverines posting a 12-2 record with a College Football Playoff appearance, at which they fell to the eventual champion Georgia Bulldogs. It was Harbaugh’s seventh season at the school, and if he had left the campus he would have departed with a 61-24 record with just one bowl win.
He beat Ohio State for the first time this past season.
Next up: Jim Harbaugh, who heads to Minnesota with confidence that he’ll land the job. Time will tell. https://t.co/Eni6jKQAfk

Harbaugh was also rumored to be filling the Miami Dolphins coaching vacancy. He has now promised Michigan that’s committed to staying at the school.
