The Jacksonville Jaguars re-signed linebacker Foyesade Oluokun to a three-year, $45 million extension, the team announced.

The deal is worth $45 million and goes up to $48 million, with $22.5 million guaranteed. Pending any unexpected changes, Oluokun will now be with the Jaguars through the 2027 season. He was entering the final year of his original three-year contract, which he signed in March 2022, but now he will do three more years in Jacksonville.

Before joining the Jaguars, Oluokun spent the first four years of his career with the Atlanta Falcons who drafted him out of Yale in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL draft. In 2021 and 2022, his last year with the Falcons and his first year with the Jaguars, he led the league in tackles and had the most tackles by any player from 2021-23 (549).

In his two seasons with the Jaguars, Oluokun has had 357 tackles, 19 quarterback hits and five fumble recoveries. He became the sixth player in NFL history to surpass 150 tackles in three consecutive seasons after achieving 173 tackles in 2023.
