Cleveland Cavaliers guard Iman Shumpert may have signed an extension with the Cavs for four more years worth $40 million this season, but the 25-year-old guard has signed another contract that will last a lifetime. This is because Shumpert popped the big question to singer Teyana Taylor over the weekend to marry him.

The question was asked on Saturday night while the couple were celebrating their unborn first child’s baby shower at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, Ohio. Taylor had posted a close-up picture on her Instagram page of the ring that gives off a bright ruby red glow. Friends of the couple also posted pictures of the couple celebrating their engagement.

Iman, thank you for making my friend an even better woman …and soon to be mother and wife.
