Get The Gear: Kansas City Royals World Series Champions Edition

Being a Kansas City Sports fan hasn’t been the easiest pastime. The Chiefs haven’t won a playoff game in two decades and until recently, the Royals were perpetual cellar dwellers. Thankfully, the Royals have turned their fortunes around and brought a title back to the the City of Fountains. And, as with any championship, there’s plenty of gear that goes along with it.

Locker Room T-shirts and Hats are always classic ways to commemorate the team’s big moment. This year’s shirt features a simple silhouette of the Commissioner’s Trophy; it’s understated enough to not drive non-Royals fans crazy but clear enough to let them know your team just won the World Series. The same pattern is also available on a hoodie if you want to rep the Royals all winter long.

For those who like to be a little less subtle, the World Series Champions 39THIRTY Stretch Fit Cap by New Era should fit the bill with a golden “Champs” emblazoned on the front. There’s also a gold version of the MLB logo under the bill, reminiscent of how European soccer teams wear a gold version of the league patch to let everyone know they’re defending champions.

And on the retro side of things, the World Series Champions wool jacket would look right at home at the ballpark in 2015 or 1985, when K.C last won the title. With classic letterman style and powder blue sleeves, no one will doubt who you support.

It’s been a long road to glory Royals fans; you deserve to celebrate it in style!
