Fight Breaks Out Between Jackson State and Prairie View A&M [Video]
After a 70-61 victory for Prairie View A&M over Jackson State on Monday, a post-game skirmish broke out during the handshake line.
At the end of an already very physical and chippy game, Jackson State forward Javveous McKinnis received a technical foul with 26 seconds left to go into the game for fouling too aggressively. After the foul, players had to be separated.
These high tensions continued into the handshake line as Panther’s guard Darius Williams appears to bump into Jackson State Forward Dontelius Ross, who takes offense to this gesture and pursues Williams. Ross took a swing at Williams that didn’t connect, then was able to be retrained by his teammates and coaches.
