Dallas Cowboys rookie running back Ezekiel Elliott stands accused of domestic assault, though he denies the accusation.
A woman who claims to be Elliott’s “live-in girlfriend,” alleges that Elliott assaulted her several times over the past week, according to police reports from the Columbus Ohio Police Department, courtesy of The Dallas Morning News.
No charges have been filed in the case and Elliott has denied any wrongdoing.
The woman claims she was assaulted by Elliott, in the rear of a parking lot while sitting in the driver’s seat of her vehicle, according to the police report.

A timestamp on the top of the report indicates it was published at 2:40 a.m. on July 22. The location of the alleged incident occurred approximately two miles from Ohio Stadium where Elliott played his home games at Ohio State.
TMZ released the audio of the 911 call made by the alleged victim.
The call begins with a dispatcher answering and the woman referencing an earlier conversation where she was asked if she would need an officer to come to her location. She denied the request in the earlier correspondence with police, but requested their presence in her second call, obtained by TMZ.
“If there is anyway that I can have an officer out on scene,” the woman says. “I was going to wait until tomorrow to report it, until he left.”
The dispatcher asks what the relationship is to the alleged assailant and the woman replies, “it’s my boyfriend.”
“And he’s been doing it for the past five days,” she says.
Former Cowboys wide receiver and NFL Network Analyst Michael Irvin spoke to Elliott on Friday, which happens to be the former Buckeye’s 21st birthday.
Irvin asked Elliott if he laid hands on the woman and Elliott told Irvin he never got close to her.
“Michael, I never got within four feet of her,” Elliott told Irvin.
“He sounded pretty upset about the whole situation,” Irvin told NFL Network Host Rich Eisen.
Elliott explained that the two were in the middle of a break-up and she showed up at a celebration for his 21st birthday “uninvited,” according to Irvin.
Likely the same woman, posted several pictures to her Instagram account Friday with the following caption:
“Just for every women out there getting abused it’s time to put a stop to it,” she wrote on Instagram. “This has been happening to me for months and it finally got out of control to where I was picked up and thrown across the room by my arms. Thrown into walls. Being choked to where I have to gasp for breath. Bruised everywhere, mentally and physically abused. It’s not okay. So I want each and everyone one of you girls to step away now from domestic violence. You’re worth so much more. I got told it was called “tough love” I’m sorry if you love someone you don’t touch your loved ones.”
The caption was accompanied by photos showing bruises on a woman’s wrists and arms. He Instagram account has since been made private.
Elliott shot down the allegations with a statement through his father, released to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
“The reported allegations and Internet postings regarding our son are completely false,” Stacy Elliott said. “Ezekiel has done nothing wrong. The police have investigated this matter and eyewitnesses have verified the lack of any wrongdoing. The actual evidence in this matter clearly indicates what the real motivation was behind the police being called. We are confident that when the truth comes to light it will reveal the falsity of these claims. Ezekiel has been fully cooperative with the police and will continue to do so—along with cooperating with the NFL—moving forward.”
Elliott is alleging the accusations are a result of sour grapes on the woman’s part after he decided to stop seeing her romantically. Reporters on the Cowboys beat have been fed that message by multiple sources.
“Per a source,” Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram Tweeted. “Elliott broke off relationship and alleged victim said she would ruin him if he did.”
