Ex Penn State Receiver Julian Fleming Charged With Homicide By Vehicle & DUI In Fatal ATV Crash That Killed His Girlfriend
Former Penn State receiver Julian Fleming faced multiple criminal charges after a fatal ATV crash that killed his girlfriend earlier this year.
Fleming, 24, was charged in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, with nine counts, including homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, homicide by vehicle and aggravated assault by vehicle with DUI. It was stated his blood alcohol content was measured at .118 shortly after the accident.

The crash occurred in late May. Fleming was driving his ATV on a rural road when he reportedly struck a deer that had jumped into his path. Both he and his girlfriend, 23-year-old Alyssa Boyd, were thrown from the vehicle. Investigators said neither was wearing a helmet nor protective gear. Boyd died at the scene, while Fleming was hospitalized with serious injuries.

He began his college career at Ohio State in 2020, where he played four seasons before transferring to Penn State in 2024. While with the Nittany Lions, he appeared in 16 games and recorded 14 receptions for 176 yards and a touchdown.
A court hearing is expected later this week as Fleming faces the charges stemming from the deadly accident.
