Eric Trump is in the news today for facing cheating allegations.
A direct message between Trump and former UFC champion and commentator Daniel Cormier that circulated on social media. In the screenshots, the account appeared to belong to Trump, allegedly asking Cormier for information about upcoming fights and whether any bouts were rigged. The messages quickly spread online and generated widespread speculation.
The allegations immediately drew attention because the UFC event was held at the White House as part of a high-profile celebration, attended by members of the Trump family and UFC officials. Questions have emerged regarding the authenticity of the messages and whether inappropriate communication occurred.
Trump claimed the message was fake. He later described the screenshot as AI-generated.
Cormier also denied the messages. The former UFC champion stated publicly that the screenshots were not real and suggested that social media may have been hacked.
