If you grew up in the 90s, then you were treated to a myriad of kid sports films. And while there were plenty of classics like the Little Giants, nothing beat the original Mighty Ducks trilogy. Of course, they are dated by today’s standards, but they are thoroughly watchable in a nostalgic way.

Emilio Estevez & Anaheim Ducks

And yesterday, actor Emilio Estevez, better known as Coach Bombay, channeled the famous character while rooting for the Anaheim Ducks during game five against the Chicago Blackhawks.

Basically, he live tweeted the game, dropping famous phrases from the trilogy.

In the end, I guess ducks, fictional or not, truly fly together. Anaheim won 5-4 in overtime, taking a 3-2 series lead.

As for Coach Bombay, lets hope that a fourth Mighty Ducks film is in the works.
