DeMarcus Lawrence Agrees To New Deal To Stay In Dallas
Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence has agreed to a new three-year deal worth $40 million ($30 million guaranteed) to stay in Dallas.
With the deal, Lawrence becomes the first DE to have seven straight seasons with a fully guaranteed contract.
Lawrence, 29, originally signed a five-year, $105 million contract ($65 million guaranteed) in 2019, then refused to take a reduced salary earlier this month. The new deal ostensibly puts both sides at ease.
He was drafted by the Cowboys in the second round of the 2014 NFL draft.
