D-League Brawl Between Teammates Leads To Ejections

In probably what is the most exciting event in D-League play this year, two Iowa Energy teammates got into a bit of a scrap during a timeout break. For those who do not know, D-League is for NBA prospects who many not possess the skills to go directly to the professional level.

Now, the game was between the Iowa Energy — the Memphis Grizzlies’ affiliate team — and Rio Grande Valley Vipers: and during the aforementioned timeout something happened on the Iowa bench, as the above video shows a scuffle between teammates Jarnell Stokes and Kalin Lucas.

At the moment, there is no word on what actually caused the fight: the above video just shows pushing and shoving from a distance, while the below Vine shows the two tackling one another with teammates trying to break them up.

So before their respective ejections, Lucas scored 18 points with five assists and five rebounds and Stokes had 16 points with eight rebounds. And Iowa ended up finishing the game on top 124-120.
