Cam Reddish Declares For NBA Draft, Twitter Reacts

Duke freshman Cam Reddish announced his intent to declare for the NBA draft.  On an Instagram post on Thursday, he wrote: “This season was epic, and I am so thankful to have had Duke as a part of the foundation that prepared me to play at the next level. Never forget – I am a Blue Devil for life. Proud to announce that I will be entering the 2019 NBA Draft. #TheBrotherhood #CamFam #TGBTG ????”

Reddish, ranked the no. seven prospect in this class, averaged 13.5 points in just under 30 minutes a game. While a step below teammates Zion Williamson and RJ Barrett to most, Reddish provided a solid third option for Duke.

Barrett announced on Wednesday that he is declaring for the draft making Williamson, projected to go no. 1 overall, the only one of the big three not to declare. Guard Tre Jones announced on Monday that he’d return for his sophomore year. That choice is being praised by many.
