Buffalo Sabres’ Patrick Kaleta Punches Himself in the Face
In what is probably uSports’ favorite Vine of the year — and the greatest display of manliness since the invention of Ron Swanson — Buffalo Sabres’ Patrick Kaleta punched himself in the face while fighting Ottawa Senators defenseman Jared Cowen. For those who do not believe what we just wrote, yes he indeed just punched himself in the face: actually psyching out Cowen in the process.
One can only assume that Kaleta did this purposefully, perhaps as a way to psych himself up. But as most should know, people who fight do not normally do this, which is why I never want to be caught in a dark alley with Patrick Kaleta.
Unfortunately, the right winger would later be injured from a check into the boards by Jared Cowen; though he is helped off the ice, there is a chance he could play Wednesday against the Tampa Bay Lightning.
